Process
Biogas is an environmentally friendly source of energy that is also available indefinitely, unlike fossil fuels such as natural gas. Even though the beginnings of biogas technology date back to the 1930s, only in the past two decades has there been a surge in biogas plants. Although the process is mature by now, bio-waste and / or dunk are needed for operation.
Unlike natural gas, it does not need to be transported over long distances from remote areas, but can be produced close to the end user. After all, there are excrements or crop residues everywhere.
